Start Your Journey with Us

Welcome to our blog, where we embark on a transformative journey exploring Christian living in today’s fast-paced world. Many of us grapple with the complexities of faith amidst daily challenges. If you’re seeking edification, knowledge, and guidance, then you’re in the right place. Our aim is to challenge, inspire, and educate you through thought-provoking ideas, engaging stories, and practical advice that can enhance your Christian walk and make it more fulfilling.

In a rapidly changing society, faith can often feel like it gets lost in the noise. We want to create a space where your Spiritual cup will be poured into and your knowledge will grow. Each post is designed to resonate with your heart and equip you with the tools to live out your beliefs authentically.

Background Information:

If you are new to our family then an introduction is in order.

My name is Richard Allen, and I was not raised in the church, or any Christian environment for that matter. I was raised to believe that there was no God, survival of the fittest was the way that the world worked, and there was no objective truth on how you ought to live life. I believed that the Bible was a book of exaggerated fairytales that dumb people talked about in their weekly book club meetings. It was easy to validate this since I didn't really see people behave as if the "Creator of everything" really loved us, became a human being and lived amongst us, actually died to reconnect us back to our Creator, and then came back to life to show His dominion over death. I was an "evangelistic atheist". What that means is that I actively made a point in try to convince "believers" that what they claimed to be true was actually wrong, and if they just snapped out of it then their lives would be free from unnecessary restrictions. It was when my life was regularly shaken as a teenager that I was confronted with the idea that my worldview wasn't actually true. The recognition that sacrificial love exists completely ruined my atheistic belief. I just wanted to find out Truth, with a capital "T", and I didn't care where it was anymore. I just wanted to find it, so that I could hurry up and start living by it. I looked into a variety of beliefs, and after several months of stubbornness, self-reflection, personal and group studies I became a disciple of Jesus the Christ. A big thank you goes to my wife, who introduced me to Christians who loved and respected the Creator.

So that there is no confusion, I was baptized to be washed of my sins, sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, and became a disciple of the Jesus, a man who historically lived, who proved to thousands of people that He was who He claimed to be, whose life was recorded multiple times by different sources, and is spoken of throughout the entirety of the Holy Bible. Jesus of Nazareth. From the lineage of King David. Born of a virgin. Only Son of God. Answer and fulfillment of Old Testament prophesies, and the only One who can restore us back to God.

Since 8:30pm on July 19, 2007 I wanted to help other people discover the Truth that I found.

In this quest God has taken us all over the United States and the world. We have learned from some truly brilliant minds, sat around dinner tables with people full of love in their hearts, and given opportunities to share of the hope and purpose that we have tested to be True. We have found that in our travels there is nowhere in the world that God isn't already working. We never "took God anywhere". We worked alongside those who had already begun beautiful work for Him.

A Bible that is regularly opened doesn't collect dust, same could be said of ones Faith.

Our Mission: Challenge, Inspire, Educate

Challenge Your Perspectives

Life presents various challenges, and sometimes faith can feel insufficient. We will dive deep into thought-provoking topics that challenge societal norms, encouraging you to reflect on your beliefs. For instance, maybe social media isn't inherently bad, but could be an amazing tool to help you. Understanding this can help you navigate relationships with more wisdom, understand the cultures and practices of areas where you may never travel, and have access to knowledge from a variety of brilliant minds.

You might find new insights into how to maintain integrity in your workplace, where pressures can distort your values. In future posts we'll discuss how to stand firm in your principles while being effective in your role.

Inspire through Stories

Inspiration is a powerful tool that drives us toward positive action. Personal stories offer a glimpse of faith, resilience, and community. We will share narratives that highlight God’s presence in both the ordinary and the extraordinary. For example, a story about a single mother who managed to maintain her faith while juggling work and childcare can motivate you. Her commitment to prayer and community support led her to find joy in everyday challenges.

Through these testimonies, we hope to inspire you to reflect on your own journey and share your experiences with others. Your story of experiencing the Glory of God might be just what someone else needs to hear.

Educate Yourself

Knowledge is essential for growth. Our goal is to provide informative content that enriches your understanding of Scripture, church history, and useful Christian practices. Each post will include practical tips and scriptural references to equip you for your spiritual journey.

We will feature resource lists, such as recommendations for books and podcasts that aim to deepen your faith. We will have a weekly podcast under our "Media" tab that addresses the relationship between "Faith and Fitness", and we are in the works to develop a second podcast on "Christian Living", ensuring you have multiple avenues for learning.

Fostering Community Connections

We believe that we are not meant to walk this journey alone. Starting a Bible study group in your homes or in community areas can be a fulfilling way to deepen your faith while building connections. We encourage you to engage, ask questions, and share insights with fellow believers by using prompts and ideas that we'll bring up in these posts.

Let’s work together to bring the sacred into our everyday living. By fostering open conversations and communal support, we can uplift one another and deepen our collective understanding of Christian living.

Practical Application of Faith

In a busy world, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and disconnected from our faith. We want to explore how to actively integrate Christian principles into everyday life. From establishing a daily devotional routine to expressing faith through acts of kindness, our aim is to provide actionable advice that fits your lifestyle.

We also personally know the value of choosing to be plugged into your own church groups. Seeking out and accepting personal responsibility when it comes to your Faith are necessary for you to grow. Offer to teach a Bible class, lead a devotional thought, or serve as a domestic or international missionary.

Encouraging Faith in Daily Life

One focus of our content is to encourage the practical application of faith. Living a life of faith often sounds abstract, but we will share real-life examples of individuals putting their faith into action.

For instance, consider the story of a college student who started a weekly prayer group on campus. His initiative not only connected him with others but also fostered a supportive environment for students facing spiritual pressures. By highlighting these real examples, we hope you can find ways to embody your beliefs daily.

Moving Forward Together

As we launch this blog, our hearts are filled with excitement. Here, we can grow collectively, learn from each other, and strengthen our relationship with God amidst the noise of the modern world. We hope you’ll find value in our posts and encourage you to become an active participant in the beautiful community of the church.

Thank you for joining us on this adventure exploring Christian living in a modern context. We look forward to tackling life’s challenges together, inspiring each other, and deepening our understanding of God: Father, Son, and Spirit. Stay tuned for our upcoming posts, and let’s make this journey impactful and rewarding.

May God bless you in your pursuit of Him!
